Attendance an online digital event on Apr. 08, 2025 entitled "Driving a more active world: The role of pharmacists in promoting physical activity". The event was offered by International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP).
Description: Regular physical activity offered substantial physical and mental health benefits, including enhanced brain health and reduced symptoms of depression and anxiety. It played a vital role in preventing and managing non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, and type 2 diabetes. Pharmacists supported efforts to promote physical activity; however, certain barriers persisted, such as limited time, lack of opportunities, and insufficient training on how to effectively advise patients about physical activity. Overcoming these barriers was essential to empowering pharmacists to promote healthier lifestyles and to incorporate physical activity into patient care.
