Description: This webinar explored how academic and research institutions in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) played a pivotal role in ensuring medicine quality through education, research, and policy engagement. Academic institutions were not only responsible for training the next generation of pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists but also served as centres for quality assurance research, regulatory support, and public health advocacy. 

The session highlighted strategies for integrating medicine quality into pharmacy curricula, fostering research on substandard and falsified medicines, and strengthening collaborations with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders.
