“Sore throat and mouth inflammation: self-care approaches”
Attendance an online digital event on Oct. 08, 2024 entitled “Sore throat and mouth inflammation: self-care approaches”. The event was offered by International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP).
Description: Self-care for mouth inflammation and sore throats is a prevalent ailment that affects millions of people worldwide, particularly during the winter months. Non-prescription medications and non-pharmacological treatments for symptom relief are examples of self-care choices. Pharmacists play an important role in managing these disorders through offering guidance on suitable therapies, making sure non-prescription medications are used properly, and determining whether medical attention is needed. This webinar aimed at educating the public on how to effectively manage mouth inflammation, sore throat, and pain employing self-care and non-prescription alternatives, with a focus on cases that are not connected with bacterial infections, hence reducing the need for antibiotic therapies.
