Description: The Nanjing Statements, first introduced in 2016, remain a key reference for shaping global pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences education. On November 7, 2024, the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) organized an online event to unveil the updated version, titled “FIP Nanjing Statements - Shaping pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences education to 2030 – Guidance Document”. This revised publication incorporates changes in global healthcare systems, particularly influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic, and addresses the evolving competency requirements of the pharmaceutical workforce. The webinar highlighted the enhanced eight domains, emphasizing how they adapt to these transformations and maintain their significance for both present and future healthcare challenges.
