Attendance an online digital event on July. 25, 2024 entitled “The power of movement to tackle diabetes”. The event was offered by International Diabetes Federation (IDF).
Description: During the present event, diabetes advocates underlined the advantages of physical activity, investigating the exterior factors that can affect the inclusion of physical activity in individuals with diabetes, as well share successful initiatives and preferable practices.
This activity is a section of the Kids and Diabetes in Schools (KiDS) program, launched by IDF, Sanofi, and the International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD) in 2013. The actions are consistent with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), remarkably 3.4 to lower premature mortality from non-communicable disease (NCDs) by one-third by prevention, therapy and promotion of well-being and mental health.
