Description: This webinar aimed to enhance understanding about technology used in the pharmaceutical industry, with an emphasis on the African perspective. The event was intended for both members and non-members of the FIP (International Pharmaceutical Federation) globally. The aim was to indicate technological developments from developing countries that can be adopted and implemented in emerging regions to improve public wellness and safety, patient care, and pharmaceutical operations in general. The webinar examined at how these technological solutions were developed and how they may be implemented in Africa's pharmacy industry to health outcomes, enhance service delivery, and solve the unique issues that the developing world's pharmacy sector faces. This knowledge-sharing seminar promised to be helpful to pharmacists looking to employ technology to enhance their profession.
