“The role of pharmacists in the management of anticoagulation treatments”
Attendance an online digital event on Oct. 01, 2024 entitled “The role of pharmacists in the management of anticoagulation treatments”. The event was offered by International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP).
Description: Effective anticoagulant therapy necessitates close monitoring and management to guarantee efficacy, safety, and best clinical results while reducing problems. Pharmacists play an important role in the administration of anticoagulant therapy because of their broad understanding of drugs. Their tasks include educating patients, detecting interactions between medications, assuring appropriate dose, and monitoring for side effects. This webinar looked at the different functions that pharmacists play in anticoagulation treatment and how they could enhance patient care and results. We joined the webinar to learn regarding best practices, current research, and practical examples of pharmacist-led anticoagulation therapies.
