Participation in the "Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis Workshop" which was held on Nov. 08, 2023. The session covered the following topics: 1) Develop search strategy; 2) Available resources to use; 3) Introduction to Embase (Biomedical Research Database); 4) How to search quickly on Embase; 5) Using Embase PICO search for searching systematically; 6) Demonstration using Rayyan with Embase search results; 7) Utilizing inclusion Criteria to ensure quality and eliminate bias; and 8) Documenting the process for transparency, auditability and reproducibility. The speaker was Dr. Shimaa Heikal, the life sciences customer success manager.
